A PNP based express entry draw was recently held by IRCC on June 22 wherein about 636 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The cut-off points or CRS score in this draw was 752.

Earlier in this year, the Immigration Refugees Citizenship, Canada has confirmed the resuming of Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws in July. Assuming the immigration body continues its regular pattern of conducting express entry draw every two weeks, the long awaited FSW and CEC centric draws would be conducted on 6th July 2022.

Also, the IRCC has indicated a probably higher CRS score of more than 500 points in the upcoming all-program draws. This is because of a likely piling up of high ranking candidates in the express entry pool. Moreover, with about 5000 new candidates entering the pool in the past 2 weeks, the CRS score would also be likely to increase. However, on the other hand, announcements of new PR programs, possible program specific express entry draws, and predicted occupation specific draws would probably result in a lower CRS score.

Express entry is the most popular PR immigration system in Canada with new programs and policies coming up every year.
