Government of Canada strongly supports family reunification and given high priority in processing of these applications to make sure eligible family members or dependent children live together without any restrictions.

Individuals coming to Canada as students, temporary foreign workers or permanent residents can bring their dependent children to Canada for the duration of their stay.
